What Jessie’s travellers say

Whether on Google Reviews, Trip Advisor or Tour HQ, clients have had nothing but good to say of their experience with Jessie, both as a guide and as a driver-guide. See for yourself!
Our guide, Jessie McDonald, was every thing a guide should be- knowledgeable, friendly, flexible and a superb driver. She took us on roads I wouldn’t want to have driven- up steep mountain passes so narrow the only way to get past an oncoming vehicle was to meet where there was a bit of grass on each side. She modified our itinerary to add places we were interested in and was flexible as possible with our times at the different stops. We started our trip with a few days on our own in Dublin, then began our tour across most of the Republic. On a side note, try the Mussels, they are delicious!

Traveling with private chauffeur is the perfect way to see Ireland! Lovely tour with driver-guide Jessie! She is extremely knowledgeable about Ireland sites and history.Excellent driver. Diligent in calling ahead to venues when we needed to adjust times. Took us to nooks and crannies we would not have found on our own.

Un guide formidable plein de ressources et jamais à court d’idées pour faire partager sa passion de l’Irlande. Nous avons passé un très agréable circuit découverte gastronomique en sa compagnie. Nous vous la recommandons ++++.

ETA Electronic Travel Authorisation for entering the U.K., including Northern Ireland

Electronic Travel Authorisations (ETAs) are being introduced worldwide for visitors to the UK who do not currently need a visa for short stays, or who do not already have a UK immigration status prior to travelling. Visitors can find out when they need an ETA to travel and can apply on GOV.UK
British and Irish citizens do not need an ETA.
• An ETA is a digital permission to travel. Individuals arriving in the UK, including Northern Ireland, need to enter in line with the UK’s immigration framework, including obtaining an ETA if required.
• Applying for an ETA is quick and simple. Most applicants get an automatic decision in minutes when applying through the UK ETA app, which means spontaneous trips to the UK are still possible.
• Eligible non-European visitors need an ETA to travel to the UK, including into Northern Ireland.
From 2 April 2025, eligible European visitors will also need an ETA.
• An ETA costs £10 and permits multiple journeys to the UK for stays of up to six months at a time over two years or until the holder’s passport expires – whichever is sooner. For more information and regular updates on ETAs, please visit GOV.UK
